The Village Square Guest House is situated on the town square  in  Clarens, a delightful country village surrounded by the magnificent mountains of the Eastern Highlands in the Free State. Breakfast and dinner is served at the Street Caffe Restaurant, owned by hosts Adrian and Carl. The Village Square Guest House is close to quaint shops and numerous art galleries for which Clarens is renowned. Hiking, trout fishing, and horse riding are available nearby. Children are welcome! Our extensive menu includes fish, steaks, pastas, and the best woodfire pizzas in the Free State! For a lighter meal try one of our mouthwatering schwarmas or burgers. On warmer days relish in  the relaxing ambience of  Clarens with a meal on the patio. During winter, come in from the cold and enjoy a drink  around the fireplace in our Pub.
